1. Warranty Coverage

All products sold by Abelian Technology come with a warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal use conditions.

  • New Products: 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Ex-UK Refurbished Products: 3-month warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Accessories: 1-month warranty from the date of purchase.

2. What Is Covered

  • Hardware defects and component failures under normal use
  • Screen defects (dead pixels, backlight failure) not caused by physical damage
  • Battery defects (significant capacity loss within warranty period)
  • Keyboard, trackpad, and port failures not caused by misuse

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage, drops, or liquid damage
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repairs
  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, cosmetic damage)
  • Software issues, viruses, or data loss
  • Damage caused by power surges or improper charging

4. How to Claim Warranty

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via email or phone with your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. Our team will assess the issue and advise on the next steps (repair, replacement, or refund).
  3. Ship or bring the product to our designated service location in Kenya.
  4. Once assessed, repairs or replacements will be completed within 7–14 business days.

5. Warranty Claim Requirements

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
  • Original packaging where possible
  • Product must not have been tampered with or repaired by unauthorized parties

6. Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If your product is out of warranty or the damage is not covered, we offer affordable out-of-warranty repair services. Contact us for a quote.
